DCS Using World’s Fastest Scanners
The document scanning services offered by UK company Data Capture Solutions (DCS) have been augmented by investment in two Imagetrac scanners from the leaders in high volume production scanning, IBML.
The ImageTrac scanners are capable of an output of just under 400 A4 pages per minute in a range of image formats. The scanners will allow DCS to increase its daily scanning capacity to more than half a million pages and consolidate its position as one of Europe’s largest document scanning service centres with customers including central government departments, local authorities and some of the world’s largest organisations including the company ExxonMobil.
Investment in IBML and Kodak high speed duplex scanners combined with Kofax Capture and Kofax KTM document scanning software enables DCS to offer premier outsource digital mailroom services and deliver on demanding SLA’s.
With the digital mailroom service, organisations and departments receive their daily business mail converted to a versatile digital format. This helps reduce paper storage costs and offers benefits such as secure electronic storage, much faster retrieval and easier document shareability, as well as improved disaster recovery and compliance.
DCS also offer application-specific document scanning and processing services such as invoice scanning, form scanning and back scanning of employee records archives.
The ability to store scanned documents in an online document management system, FileStore, gives managers and their teams secure access to documents such as insurance claims, invoices and employee records from any web-enabled location and opens the door to greater flexibility in workforce location and offshoring of back office processes.
